Every songbird watercolor print in this group comes from my Songbirds & Friends series — paintings of the birds that fill our gardens, feeders, and forests with personality. Cardinals in winter red against snow. Dark-eyed juncos arriving with the first cold front. Florida scrub jays — threatened, curious, and found nowhere else on earth. Painted buntings wearing every color in the spectrum. Golden-crowned kinglets weighing less than two quarters. Tufted titmice with their crested heads tilted in permanent curiosity. Each species has its own character, and each painting captures it.
I work freehand on archival cotton rag paper with Kissho Gansai mineral pigments from Kyoto. Songbirds move fast and rarely hold still, so painting them means trusting memory, gesture, and the instincts built through decades of life drawing. Each giclée is printed in my Pawtucket studio, color-matched to the original.
Songbird prints bring the life of the backyard indoors. They work in kitchens, breakfast nooks, home offices, and anywhere you want the company of a small bird with a big story.

Materials: Prints of my original, handmade pieces are made using only archival inks on heavyweight archival rag paper by Moab designed to last a lifetime. Learn more about my materials and process.
Framing: All work is elegantly framed in pristine white handmade wooden frames. The frames are 1.5" deep and handcrafted from solid wood by my favorite local framer.
A Note About Your Print's Edges: Each print arrives with a thin 1/8" white border all around—this bit of breathing space ensures that more of the image remains visible when framed, as standard framing techniques can obscure the edges.
If you prefer your image printed edge-to-edge without this margin, simply add a note with your order requesting "full-frame printing" and I'll happily accommodate.

Packaging: Prints 18x24” and larger are rolled and will arrive in sturdy mailing tubes. Smaller prints are shipped flat.
Shipping: Prints up to and including 40x40 ship FREE to the continental U.S. For larger works, please email us with your zip code for a quote.
Schedule: Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing and shipping. Larger orders may require additional time. If your order is time-sensitive, please leave us a note during checkout, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
International: Please contact us directly before placing your order for international shipping. Provide the items you're interested in and your shipping address so we can estimate shipping costs and any constraints.
Insurance: We provide complimentary shipping insurance for all orders. In the event that your item arrives damaged, please document it with pictures and notify us immediately so we can initiate a claim on your behalf.
